A memorial ceremony can be a focus and a source of real comfort in the time after the funeral.
Some bereaved families feel a conflict between, on the one hand, wanting the funeral to be as private as possible, and on the other, the need to provide for a much wider circle of friends and colleagues. The best way to resolve this problem is to arrange both – a small and relatively unpublicised funeral within a couple of weeks of the death, and a widely notified memorial gathering some weeks later.
I am happy to advise, help, organise and put the ceremony together and act as “Master of Ceremonies”. My fee for this service would be £180.
