For many families, getting through the funeral is a point to focus on, and only afterwards does the bereavement become more real and, as others go back to their daily lives, those who were closest to the deceased can find it hard to come to terms with their changed lives.
A ceremony to scatter the ashes can be very comforting and it often brings close family together for a very special time for this last act of farewell.
The choices are where? how? and who? The decisions are about location, scattering or burial of ashes, and who will conduct the ceremony? There is no need to make an immediate decision about the final disposal of cremation ashes.
Cemeteries, crematoria and natural burial sites are usually able to take either scattering or interring of ashes, whether or not the funeral was held there.
A Certificate of Cremation will be provided when the ashes are collected.

If I have conducted the funeral of your loved one, I would offer this service free of charge.
